1946 G506 ON THE ASSEMBLY LINE

The first truck is a 1946 Chevrolet 3100. LOOK WHATS BEHIND IT! This is an official GM factory photo,

Has the hunt for a 1946 G506 gotten off to a good start? :lol:

Fenders, grill, black out light, center hood support... all there.

My guess is that this is a late 45 photo and they started the 46 model year (all of the wartime contracts were basically ended in August, 45) so that gives 4 months to get the production up to speed.

OR it really IS a 1946 G506! 8) 8)
