How to disassemble a CCKW composite bed

Like many CCKW owners I have a cargo bed in need of restoration.

I recently learned that the bed can be broken down into easy to manage parts.

Heres how I did it:

Cargo bed, composite, late war. Needs a good cleaning, new wood and some minor stake pocket work.. also replace all fasteners.

Heres where I started. There is also a bolt up under the channel. Don't forget it. I used my MAPP torch to loosen the rusted bolts. A 9/16ths deep socket and wrench were used.
