The words 'Harrison' and 'heater' were repeated so many times that, as a percentage of all the words on this board, they constituted more than 5% or all words. I think that's a nice way to say that that topic was beat to death

I've disabled the word limit threshold, and recreated the index. You can now search for harrison and heater. Still has to be at least 3 letters, I think.

That would definitely clear up a few things... the conventional wisdom was that the number was a year, not just a model number.

I'm pretty sure all the info I have in the original thread... will be interesting to see what you turn up.

I've been collecting bit of info also... but nothing that points to a specific answer to the 'military' version.

As far as image size is concerned... images are thumbnailed... I'll check the board config to see if there is a max size limit.. I'm sure there is. If anything simply attach the image to the post (use .zip as the file extension) and it should automagically put the attachment to the post.

I CAN add that it seems that Chevy Harrison heaters started with an H, whereas GMC heaters started with an I for the number code. That was an eye opener.
